Biography

Harmony Hot Haus is composed of musicians and music instructors who are unified in their interest in American music, and have spent the past eight years exploring early jazz, Celtic fiddle tunes, and other more esoteric styles. Utilizing fiddle, banjo, guitar, bass, piano and various percussion; Harmony Hot Haus strives to marry these varied styles into an original and interesting sound. Preferential treatment is given to original material, and typical song subjects include regional history, folklore, the outdoors and personal stories. As a group, the members of Harmony Hot Haus hope to renew interest in organic music, while simultaneously being recognized for being another evolutionary link in traditional music’s long chain.
